Eligibility for Testing

Decisions about testing are at the discretion of state and local health departments and/or individual clinicians. For guidance regarding who should be tested, refer to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website.

COVID-19 Testing Locations & Resources

  • For a list of testing resources in your area, contact your local, county, or state health department and/or check the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Community-based testing sites for COVID-19 can also be found on Castlight’s website. 
  • To help identify testing availability in your community, contact your Primary Care Physician (PCP) for assistance.

Faculty and staff who are tested for COVID-19 by any healthcare provider in any jurisdiction must immediately notify University Health Services at

Doctors In Your Office

Doctors In Your Office offers nasal swab COVID-19 Testing. When scheduling your appointment select the Office of Human Resources for your work location.

At your appointment time, a physician will call you to discuss your symptoms, determine if you need a test, and provide you with next steps. Current turnaround time for results may vary based on demand.
