The group is open to all employees with an affinity for Asian culture, regardless of racial or ethnic background.

AS@P’s mission is to create opportunities for:

  • Community and Belonging: Provide social gatherings and a space of mutual trust and respect for anyone who has an appreciation for Asian cultures and people.
  • Education and Awareness: Promote visibility, advocacy, and empowerment for Asian staff at the University.
  • Development and Collaboration: Support the advancement of Asian staff through professional development and mentorship programming and resources.
  • Service and Impact: Engage in outreach and volunteer opportunities to positively impact the Princeton community.

Listen to a few words from Michele Minter, vice provost for institutional equity and diversity, who will act as the group’s executive sponsor.

AS@P joins 11 other employee-led ERGs on campus, comprised of individuals from across the University who come together based on shared interests and/or identities.
