Make time to take care of yourself! Annual physicals are very important because they help identify and treat health conditions before they get worse. If you are overdue for a routine visit or you are having trouble getting in to see your primary care physician, take advantage of this convenient program.
Here is what to expect during your visit:
- A comfortable, private exam room with chairs as opposed to a traditional exam table.
- Biometric screenings will be performed. Results will be reviewed immediately following.
- Comprehensive blood work will be performed. The doctor will call or text you your lab results and any necessary next steps.
- Based on your age and health history, the doctor will recommend preventive screenings to consider.
If you are enrolled in a Princeton medical plan you are eligible for one annual physical each calendar year.
If you are enrolled under a medical plan outside of Princeton, you can still take advantage of the program. Simply call the phone number on your medical ID plan to confirm if you are eligible before scheduling an appointment.
It is important to understand that your visit with the Doctors In Your Office program differs from a visit with your primary care physician in that you will not receive any written prescriptions or follow-up calls. If a chronic condition is identified, you will be directed to visit your primary care physician. If you need assistance finding one, contact Health Advocate.
Space is limited! To book a free physical, register online. Once registered you will be sent additional online forms to complete prior to your appointment.
Parking is available onsite at the Employee Wellness Center, located at 350 Alexander Street.
