Make your health a priority in 2023. Annual physicals are very important because they help identify and treat health conditions before they get worse. If you are overdue for an annual physical, and you are having trouble getting an appointment, take advantage of this convenient program.
Here is what to expect during your visit:
- A comfortable, private exam room.
- Biometric screenings.
- Comprehensive blood work. You do not need to fast the day of your appointment; you can eat a low-fat breakfast and light, low-fat lunch.
- Based on your age and family history, preventive screenings will be discussed.
If you are enrolled in a Princeton medical plan you are eligible for one annual physical each calendar year.
If you are enrolled under a medical plan outside of Princeton, you can still take advantage of the program. Simply call the phone number on your medical ID plan to confirm if you are eligible before scheduling an appointment.
It is important to understand that your visit with the Doctors In Your Office program differs from a visit with your primary care physician in that you will not receive any written prescriptions. If a chronic condition is identified, you will be directed to visit your primary care physician for follow up. If you need assistance finding a PCP or a specialist contact Health Advocate.
To book a free physical, register online. Once your appointment is scheduled you will be sent electronic health forms that must be completed prior to your appointment.
Parking is available onsite at the Employee Wellness Center, located at 350 Alexander Street.
