Doctors In Your Office: Annual Physicals at the Employee Wellness Center

May 24, 2023

Annual physicals are very important because they can help identify and treat health conditions before they worsen. If you are overdue for an annual physical, and you are having trouble getting an appointment, take advantage of this convenient program.

Here is what to expect during your visit:

  • Biometric screenings and comprehensive blood work.
  • Education and guidance on what preventive screenings you should have.
  • A private, comfortable exam room.

If you are enrolled in a Princeton medical plan, you are eligible for one annual physical each calendar year. If you are enrolled under a medical plan outside of Princeton, you can still take advantage of the program. Call the phone number on your medical ID plan to confirm if you are eligible before scheduling an appointment.

It is important to note, even if you have an annual physical through this program, you should find and establish a relationship with a primary care physician (PCP). If a chronic condition is identified, you will need to follow up with a PCP or a provider who specializes in the condition discovered. If you need assistance finding a PCP or a specialist, contact Health Advocate.

To book a free physical, register online. Once your appointment is scheduled you will be sent electronic health forms that must be completed prior to your appointment.

The exam and bloodwork are covered at 100%. If you receive a bill, do not make payment, and contact Lynn Herbine at [email protected] for assistance.

Parking is available onsite at the Employee Wellness Center, located at 350 Alexander Street.
