Hinge Health — New Benefit Program for Virtual Physical Therapy

Oct. 3, 2023

Have you ever had joint pain? If so, assistance is now easily within reach. Princeton has partnered with Hinge Health, a virtual physical therapy exercise program designed to support back and joint health. Effective immediately, this program is available at no cost to you and your eligible dependents, aged 18 or older, enrolled in a Princeton medical plan.

If you struggle with joint and muscle pain, are recovering from a recent or past injury, or simply want to keep your joints healthy and pain free, start using Hinge Health today for expert care. Hinge Health is more than exercise therapy. Their virtual programs combine gentle exercise with 1-on-1 support to reduce your pain and help you move with confidence. Whether your goal is to go hiking more, work in your garden, or take the stairs (or all three!), Hinge Health can help you toward pain relief with exercises that last only 15 minutes a day.

Once enrolled in the program, Hinge Health will assign a personal care team to provide you with 1-on-1 support and guide you through a customized program. Since the program is completely virtual, it allows you to complete your exercise therapy at any time, from anywhere — this means never rushing to an appointment, worrying about copays, or obtaining a referral. Hinge Health will also provide a tablet for those that do not have access to a smart device.
