New Employees: I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) Process

As required by law, employees working in the United States are required to complete the I-9 process at the time of hire, rehire, or when their work authorization documents expire. New employees are required to complete the I-9 within three days of their start date.

Human Resources representatives will be available on campus the week of January 16 to conduct the I-9 process for all employees (casuals, staff, DOF appointees):

  • Tuesday, January 17, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 18, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 19, 9:00 a.m. – noon

Appointments are strongly recommended and can be made online.

Location: New South, room B10 (basement)

Hours for the remainder of the semester are by appointment only, normally on Monday and Thursday mornings at New South, room B10.

Employees were sent instructions to their email to complete the personal information (section 1) of I-9 in the Tracker online I-9 system along with the details to present their documentation to HR. Employees residing within the tri-state region (NJ, PA, NY) are required to complete the I-9 in person. Those who are approved to work fully remote outside of the region may contact [email protected] to make alternate arrangements.
