What You Need to Know This Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast cancer is currently the most common cancer globally, and in the United States, 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. Preventive screenings can result in early detection which can lead to less aggressive treatments and higher survival rates. Once again, Princeton has partnered with Princeton Radiology to offer the Princeton University Mammography ProgramPrinceton Radiology is holding appointment slots for our employees and their loved ones from October 7 through October 31, so booking an appointment is quick and easy.

October 10 is World Mental Health Day, an international day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma. This year’s theme is "It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace," something Princeton continues to support by offering resources that help staff manage whatever challenges they may be facing.

Before you and your student get overwhelmed by college essays, get expert guidance from Bright Horizons College Coach®. One-on-one sessions can help your student nail down an essay topic, while their written essay review service can assist in putting their essay drafts over the finish line.
