As you start to plan for the summer months, the summer workday schedule will soon be available for those staff who work regular hours. This year, summer hours will begin on Monday, June 2, 2025. Normal business hours will be adjusted to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 45-minute lunch break. The normal schedule of 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break will resume on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Offices that schedule more than one work shift or have other work requirements may need to maintain a different work schedule.

The University’s three-year holiday schedule is available on the HR website. For policy information about University holidays, including pay practices, refer to policies 3.1.6 Holidays and 6.1.1 Overtime Pay.

In the spirit of diversity and inclusion, we ask that individuals take the dates of religious holidays into consideration when planning workplace meetings or events.
